lit up branch lights
Cherry blossom flower lights (from UK's Graham and Green) are just what I need to bring ambient light to a dark corner. Find a U.S. version of them here. UPDATE: looks like they took it off the WorldMarketCost Plus website :-( perhaps they sold out?) They might still be in stores though- that's where we bought ours! only about $25. The WorldMarket website still has a picture of it under "string lights" in the "Garden" section... If anyone finds another US link- let us know!

Chocolate Logs
After and early dinner and an evening at LACMA, we decided to have dessert and wine at the The Nose is Pasadena. Look at these beautiful chocolates and went amazingly with the not too sweet port. Besides the lovely logs chocolates which were coffee bean flavor, we tasted basil, rosemary and thyme chocolates. Heaven.

Magritte
Finally got see the Magritte show at LACMA this weekend and took a snap of the entry signage. He was all about what we know, but that it doesn't really exist in front of us if it's only an image - "This is not a pipe." Cool to see how popular he's been through the years. The show made a nice outing on a Saturday night.
