Tour de Tree print
I'm not sure exactly how I feel about this print. I don't know if I like it... or don't like it. It's kind of pretty and poetic, but its also kinda... weird? Is that a bad thing? What do you think?
It's by watercolor artist George Dombeck (who does actually have some amazing paintings of trees and other things on his site). Available here (although currently sold out :-( )

Branch lights UPDATE!
We were so excited when we noticed the cherry blossom branch lights we posted awhile back, were in the window of a store in Palm Springs. (we were there for a weekend vacation) Unfortunately, the store was closed at the time, but we later emailed them and they are selling them. He said the boxes they came in don't have any brand descriptions, but they are selling them for $29.95 each. They come in red and white and they don't get hot. He says they've been plugged in and lit continuously since late November, so they definitely will last awhile. The store is Soho, in Palm Springs. You can email the owner, Mike, directly if you are interested in purchasing them and he will ship them to you! If anyone happens to see these anywhere else here in the US, please let us know!

digital woodgrain
This wood panel is gorgeous. Believe it or not, it's all digital imagery made to look like inlay and marquetry. Images are tranfered on to everything from wallcoverings, canvas, textiles, and even wood veneer. Sure beats contact paper! Thanks Mark.

white trees
Has anyone seen these white trees? They're by artist Ugo Rondinone and we're so fascinated. They are actually casts of trees from the artist's parent's hometown and have been plopped right NY's Battery Park. Would love to know if anyone has had the privilegde of seeing them. Via Cool Hunting.
