Sharon Levy has created the largest faux wood cross-section you will ever see. Jaime Zollars is an amazing children's book illustrator. She has a great sense of narrative and inspires imagination! Her prints would make a great gift for a friend and even better gift of art to a child. I love the owl print called "Homeless" and her other woodsy print called "Homecoming."

Fellow woodnut Amy sent us this link to these fun building blocks for kids- Love the name- Jakks "Knotwud" Construction blocks- hehe, they're actually made of foam and have a woodgrain pattern screened to them. I could see using some of just one color, maybe for a fun display for your bookcase or something- I wonder if you couldn't utilize them somehow for somethign else too... hm... anyways- $14.99 for the set- (thanks for the tip Amy!!)
