Survival Furniture

We've been meaning to post this for ages (we were just clearing our desk and came across them again)- how awesome are these pieces? They are part of a collection called "Survival Furniture" from Minale-Maeda. It's an "homage to medieval craftsmanship."They are made of plywood- BUT it's completely covered/upholstered in a fine silk brocade that has a woodgrain pattern on it.
