okay, so this is not faux, but i had to post it in reference to my comment to the previous skirt. its from hussein chalayan 's 2000 collection where "a model came onto the stage wearing what appeared to be a hoop skirt made of overlapping bands of bent wood. The model then stepped out of the skirt, which collapsed into a modernist coffee table with a circular hole in the center." brilliant. designer hussein chalayan has his new book out.
