the marimekko people are doing such a brilliant job. above are a few pieces from their new collection - ratanpuisto & latvassa with leaves a foot long and below are kaiku, lumimarja, tuuli, blowing rock, and hoi hoi. they are clearly the experts at abstracting nature. the beauty in trees have been such a successful theme throughout their collections. ahhh, so gorgeous. all are available as wall hanging kits. would love to see pics if anyone has one on their wall. i'm sure it's just breathtaking.
